Sri Lanka has suffered its worst climate disaster since the devastating 2004 tsunami. Hundreds have died and thousands left homeless. Unfortunately, Badowita has not escaped this, with the canals bursting their banks and flooding the neighbourhood. Many within this community are day labourers and not able to travel to they jobs.
