| School Support
Asha Trust continue to support a porly resourced school that is attended by many of the children from tht ‘polythene zone’ of Athidiya and are extremely poor. Asha provides a ‘Breakfast Club’ for 50 pupils who had previously endured the school day without a meal and have funded a learning support teacher who assists a number of students who are struggling academically. Thanks to Challenge 2012 we have been able to support them with the refurbishment of a run down classroom into a smart new room for the booster class. As part of the UNDP’s Year of Sanitation initiative we are aim to support them with a new toilet block. Challenge 2012 are again assist with the funding of this project, we wish to extend our thanks to them for their generous support.
